In the world of heavy haul logistics, not every shipment is created equal. This month, we’re spotlighting a particularly impressive project: six truckloads of fabricated metal for a frac plant, transported all the way from Texas to Wisconsin.
Each load measured a massive 48 feet long, 11 feet 11 inches wide, and 8 feet high, with each piece tipping the scales at 40,000 pounds. Given the size and weight of these components, the logistics needed to be executed with precision and care. So to handle this oversized cargo, we utilized step deck trailers—an ideal solution for transporting tall, heavy items like these.
Transporting six truckloads across multiple states, from the heart of Texas all the way up to Wisconsin, required expert planning and flawless coordination. The trip covered more than 1,100 miles, crossing through various terrains and weather conditions, all while adhering to strict road regulations for oversized loads.
After a long journey, all six loads arrived safely at their destination in Wisconsin. This shipment is a prime example of how our team rises to meet the challenge of transporting oversized, heavy freight with expertise and precision.
Stay tuned for next month’s featured shipment as we continue to push the limits of what’s possible in freight logistics.
