With ConExpo just one week away, our team is already in full show mode — and this month’s featured shipment couldn’t be more fitting.
We recently coordinated the transport of a 40’ x 12’ x 12’ concrete mixer weighing 36,000 lbs from Texas to Las Vegas, traveling more than 1,200 miles to make it to one of the largest construction trade shows in the world.
On paper, it’s “just” an over-dimensional shipment. In reality, moves like this require precision planning, compliance management, and constant communication.
And yes — we’ll be exhibiting at ConExpo, too!
Oversize = Oversight
With a width of 12 feet, this mixer exceeded standard legal limits, which meant:
✔ Securing proper oversize permits
✔ Confirming approved travel routes
✔ Coordinating timing restrictions
✔ Ensuring compliance across state lines
✔ Managing delivery scheduling to align with show setup windows
Las Vegas during ConExpo setup week is no small operation. With thousands of exhibitors moving heavy machinery into the convention center and outdoor lots, timing is everything. Miss your delivery window, and you risk delays that can impact booth setup, staffing, and show readiness.
Our team worked closely with the carrier and the customer to ensure smooth routing and on-time arrival — because when it comes to trade show freight, there are no second chances.
We’ll See You at ConExpo
This shipment is a great example of what we do every day — but it’s even more exciting when it supports an event we’re participating in ourselves.
As we prepare to exhibit at ConExpo, we understand firsthand the importance of reliable freight partnerships. Whether you’re moving:
-
Oversize machinery
-
Heavy equipment
-
Show displays
-
Time-sensitive materials
Having the right team behind the move matters.
Moving Big Equipment? Let’s Talk.
Oversize loads require more than just a truck — they require strategy, compliance expertise, and proactive communication.
If you’re preparing for a show, launching equipment to a jobsite, or coordinating a cross-country heavy haul, our team is ready to support.
We’ll see you in Las Vegas next week at ConExpo — and if you spot that 40’ mixer on display, just know it had quite the journey getting there.
Safe travels, and see you at the show!
