We recently onboarded a new client and moved their first shipment for them just the other day. This shipment was an armored vehicle that weighed over 20,000 pounds. This heavy piece of machinery was picked up in Massachusetts and delivered 1,199 miles all the way down to Florida.
The dimensions of this cargo measured to be:
Length: 21′ 9”
Width: 8′ 6”
Height: 9′ 5”
Which makes this a Full Truckload shipment. In order to safely transport this load, we used a 48′ step deck trailer. The trailer equipment needed was ramps, edge protectors and chains.
