We’re so excited to announce that after four years, Rick is rejoining the KCC team as a Carrier Sales Representative again! Many of you may remember Rick from his time with KCC from 2021 – 2022, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back as he begins this next chapter from his new home in beautiful Puerto Rico. When asked what drew him back to KCC, Rick didn’t hesitate. “I decided to work for KCC because I value the team-oriented environment and the opportunity to wear multiple hats. The logistics world is never boring, and I enjoy being able to consistently provide solutions, even in challenging situations. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Martina brings a strong background in customer service and sales to her new role. Prior to joining KCC, she worked in a CSR/Sales position where she developed a passion for building relationships and helping customers find solutions — skills that make her a perfect fit! Outside of work, Martina is incredibly creative. In fact, one fun fact about her is that she’s a “lowkey designer.” She enjoys creating clothing pieces in her spare time and loves drawing whenever she gets the chance. Her creativity and attention to detail shine both personally and professionally. Family is also a huge part of Martina’s life. Big news on the team—Bryan has officially surpassed training and earned his spot as a Level 1 Carrier Sales Representative! From day one, Bryan brought focus, energy, and a drive to improve every single day. What really set him apart, was how quickly he turned learning into execution. By consistently putting in the work and embracing challenges head-on, he didn’t just complete training, he shortened it! That’s no small feat, especially in this position. Being a Carrier Sales Rep can be challenging, but it is also very rewarding. Bryan has already shown that he knows how to build relationships, think on his feet, and deliver results. Outside of work, Bryan has a wide range of interests that keep him active and engaged. He’s a big fan of music and has even started his own CD and vinyl collection. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Jacob has a deep appreciation for both design and structure—something that shows up not only in his professional journey but also in his personal interests. Moving it was no small task: Weight: 149,694 lbs Dimensions: 49’ 10” L x 13’ 3” W x 14’ 5” H With dimensions and weight well beyond standard legal limits, this qualified as a fully over-dimensional (OD) shipment requiring detailed planning and execution. The Equipment To safely transport this oversized load, we utilized a 12-axle RGN Beam trailer. This configuration was essential to properly distribute the weight and maintain compliance with axle load regulations across state lines. With ConExpo just one week away, our team is already in full show mode — and this month’s featured shipment couldn’t be more fitting. We recently coordinated the transport of a 40’ x 12’ x 12’ concrete mixer weighing 36,000 lbs from Texas to Las Vegas, traveling more than 1,200 miles to make it to one of the largest construction trade shows in the world. On paper, it’s “just” an over-dimensional shipment. In reality, moves like this require precision planning, compliance management, and constant communication.
