From day one, Bryan brought focus, energy, and a drive to improve every single day. What really set him apart, was how quickly he turned learning into execution. By consistently putting in the work and embracing challenges head-on, he didn’t just complete training, he shortened it! That’s no small feat, especially in this position. Being a Carrier Sales Rep can be challenging, but it is also very rewarding. Bryan has already shown that he knows how to build relationships, think on his feet, and deliver results. Now, stepping fully into his new role, he’s positioned to make an even bigger impact and if his training performance is any indication, he’s just getting started! Congrats to Bryan for absolutely killing it so far. We’re excited to see him fully hit his stride and continue raising the bar in his new position.

This month, we’re spotlighting a heavyweight move that perfectly showcases the coordination, expertise, and attention to detail required in specialized shipping. Which is our specialty! The Load Our featured shipment was a Material Handler – LH80M-1218, an impressive piece of equipment built for serious industrial performance. Moving it was no small task: Weight: 149,694 lbs Dimensions: 49’ 10” L x 13’ 3” W x 14’ 5” H With dimensions and weight well beyond standard legal limits, this qualified as a fully over-dimensional (OD) shipment requiring detailed planning and execution. The Equipment To safely transport this oversized load, we utilized a 12-axle RGN Beam trailer. This configuration was essential to properly distribute the weight and maintain compliance with axle load regulations across state lines. The Route Origin: Maryland Destination: Virginia While this may seem like a short haul on paper, OD shipments add layers of complexity that turn even regional moves into highly strategic operations. Planning & Execution Because of its size and weight, this shipment required: State permits for both Maryland and Virginia Escort vehicles to ensure safe navigation along the route Route surveys to avoid low clearances, tight turns, and restricted roadways Timing coordination to comply with travel restrictions […]

With ConExpo just one week away, our team is already in full show mode — and this month’s featured shipment couldn’t be more fitting. We recently coordinated the transport of a 40’ x 12’ x 12’ concrete mixer weighing 36,000 lbs from Texas to Las Vegas, traveling more than 1,200 miles to make it to one of the largest construction trade shows in the world. On paper, it’s “just” an over-dimensional shipment. In reality, moves like this require precision planning, compliance management, and constant communication. And yes — we’ll be exhibiting at ConExpo, too! Oversize = Oversight With a width of 12 feet, this mixer exceeded standard legal limits, which meant: ✔ Securing proper oversize permits✔ Confirming approved travel routes✔ Coordinating timing restrictions✔ Ensuring compliance across state lines✔ Managing delivery scheduling to align with show setup windows Las Vegas during ConExpo setup week is no small operation. With thousands of exhibitors moving heavy machinery into the convention center and outdoor lots, timing is everything. Miss your delivery window, and you risk delays that can impact booth setup, staffing, and show readiness. Our team worked closely with the carrier and the customer to ensure smooth routing and on-time arrival — because […]

Why Cargo Insurance Matters in Freight Shipping: What Shippers Need to Know In the world of freight shipping, things don’t always go according to plan. Cargo gets damaged, shipments get lost, accidents happen, and unexpected delays can put valuable freight at risk. For shippers and carriers alike, cargo insurance isn’t just a line item on a rate sheet—it’s essential protection for your business, your customers, and your bottom line. Whether you’re moving building materials, machinery, or high-value freight, understanding how cargo insurance works can make the difference between a minor inconvenience and a costly disaster. Why Cargo Insurance Is Essential Your Carrier’s Liability Is Limited Many shippers are surprised to learn that a carrier is not automatically responsible for the full value of their freight. Motor carriers are typically only liable for up to a certain amount per pound—often far below the actual worth of the cargo. This means a trailer fire destroying $800,000 in goods may only result in a small reimbursement if proper insurance isn’t in place. Claims Without Insurance Can Take Months (or Fail Entirely) Insurance simplifies and accelerates the claims process. With coverage, shippers receive faster, more reliable resolutions. Without a policy: Carriers may dispute liability Claims can be denied Compensation may be minimal Declaring the shipment value is just as important as having insurance. Without a declared value […]

Every now and then, it’s fun to look back at where we’ve been to appreciate how far we’ve come. For this month’s Featured Shipment, we’re taking part in a true Throwback Thursday moment and participating in the trend that’s taking over the internet: “2026 Is The New 2016”! A Blast From the Past 🚚❄️ We dug into the archives and are highlighting a shipment from ten years ago. At the time, this move represented reliability, strong partnerships, and the hustle it took to get freight where it needed to go and values that still define how we operate today. With tradeshow season in full swing and a major snowstorm approaching, this throwback felt especially fitting. The shipment? A massive snow sweeper machine headed for display at a tradeshow at the Buffalo Convention Center in New York. The journey began at the Port of Baltimore, where we picked up the equipment and safely transported it all the way to New York. This was no ordinary load. The Specs That Made It Stand Out Length: 54 feet, 6 inches Height: 11 feet, 3 inches Weight: 55,000 pounds Beyond transportation, our team went the extra mile. We didn’t just deliver the snow sweeper—we […]
